1. NEET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET), an all-India common medical entrance examination, shall be conducted annually by NTA. Here are the eligibility criteria which you must possess in order to register successfully.

Nationality- Indian and Foreign Nationals

Age- The candidate must be at least 17 years of age as of December 31, 2023

Minimum Educational Qualification- Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized institute

Compulsory Subjects in Class 12- Physics, Chemistry, and Biology

Minimum Marks in Qualifying Exam- General 50%, PWD: 45%, SC/ ST/ OBC: 42%

2. NEET 2023 Documents Required for Application Form

Many applicants often wonder what documents are required when applying for NEET. They are especially confused because they are unsure of whether or not they will be asked to submit while filling up the application form.

The documents must be submitted through the online application form available at https://neet.nta.nic.in/webinfo/Page/. The candidates have to upload their recent passport size photograph, signature, and one self-attested copy of their mark sheets along with educational certificates/degrees in respect of qualifying examination and experience certificate.

NEET 2023 Application Fees(tentative)

NEET application fees are an essential part of NEET exam preparation. It is also important to know the fees before applying for NEET in 2023. If you are applying as a general caste student then the fee structure will be different from other castes like OBC, SC, and ST. Also, the fees for PWD(Persons with Disability) are also different.

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is a single and common entrance examination for admission to Undergraduate medical courses (MBBS, BDS, BAMS, and BHMS) in India. The tentative cost of NEET application fees are as follows

● General- Rs. 1,500

● OBC(Other Backward Classes)-Rs. 1,400

NEET Application Fees for TS 2018:

The candidates belonging to the state of Telangana are required to pay Rs.1000/- as NEET Application Fees in order to take part in this exam.

Is NEET registration 2023 Open?

No, NEET 2022 is open which is scheduled to be held on the 17th of july. The dates for  NEET 2023 are yet to be announced by NTA(National testing Agency). The expected dates are april and the exam date is expected to be in the month of may.

When can I apply for NEET 2023?

You can apply when the application form is available on the NTA’s website. It is expected to be out in the last week of February. If you want to apply keep an eye on the dates to be announced.

How do I register for NEET 2023?

Once the application form dates are announced you can do the following to register yourself for the national level test.

● Visit the National Testing agency’s website “neet.nta.nic.in”

● Now Click on the “Fill Registration Form” tab on the home page screen and you will be redirected towards the online registration form page. There you can fill in all the required information and upload all documents and submit. Once successfully submitted you are ready for the exam.

Is NEET 2023 Cancelled?

There have been rumors that NEET 2023 might be canceled due to increasing COVID cases in the country. However, these are just rumors and there is no official announcement from the government yet. No, it is not canceled or postponed, the dates are yet to be announced.

Will NEET 2023 be in August?

The history of the NEET exam shows that it's been conducted in April or May since 2013. The regulating authority “NTA” has not said anything about the date for the upcoming exams.
